moved to scraps: its old and a bit messy.. but many memories .. so it has to stay.
I was one of the funders of the Dutch art commuity 'The Ravens Nest'. I organised it with a group of dear friends and enthausiast people, and we have kept it going for over four years. At our best times we had about 100 active users. Sadly I aswell as the other staff members got less and less spare time to invest in the site, also we had some setbacks like server crashes. All together we decided to put an end to it last summer. Two of the Ravens members organised one last assignment for the old ravens group though, it was to make a small memorial image wich would be used in a compilation of raven's members work.
Anyways, to make a long story short, this is my entry for that project. I've actually finished it about 2 months ago but I never really took the time to upload it.
Also take a peek at these Ravens memorials other Deviant art/ex-raven members did:
Nicely done, Elsa. It looks like the raven is skulking off, perhaps to come back and harrass us in some other form.
How great adventures do run their course.

It's absolutely brilliant, although the white lines at the end of the feathers aren't as soft as the rest of the image, and thus stand out a little too much. but it's great
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

The only thing worse then fighting for what is wrong,
Is not fighting for what is right.
