Nothing compliments a gloomy girl like a big stormy cloud and a rough ocean right? At least that's what I thought when I wanted to finish this one. I think I inherited it from my granddad, the clouds and sea thing.. I love drawing it
 Maybe spend a bit to much time on refining the waves and all that because it draws a lot of attention away from the character, but for me it sort of evens them out making the whole somewhat serene. Some thought it was an annoying distraction tho.. so srry if the waves and the character are battling for your attention. * I used several pictures of clouds and oceans as reference/inspiration material. lub Munnin |

you know, the background is really good, like you said, stormy. But I can't quite read the expression of the character... she doesnt look happy, but she doensn't look angry. The eye on the right is very serious, but the left is quite normal.. and here mouth.. she almost smiles. It's not really gloomy...
or maybe I just can't read faces...
